Charities and volunteers in Mumbles, and the rest of Swansea, have the chance to bid for food poverty grants set up by Swansea City Council.
The council has set up a £100,000 fund aiming to direct money to projects tackling food poverty across the area. It also says it welcomes applications supporting community growing projects.
Schools in Wales will remain shut until at least January 18, the Welsh Government has announced.
Primary and secondary schools in Swansea, and the rest of Wales, will be moving to online learning until at least January 18 following growing concern for the rising cases of coronavirus Education Minister, Kirsty Williams, confirmed.

The Mumbles and Newton ward has recorded the lowest coronavirus rate in Swansea, the latest data from Public Health Wales has revealed.
Swansea's overall infection rate has continued to fall and is now at 88.3. Seven days ago, this figure was 120 cases per 100,000 people.

Children aged three to seven in Mumbles, and the rest of Wales, will return to school after the February half-term, the BBC has reported.
It is expected that the Welsh Government will confirm the plan today that the foundation phase of primary schools will return to classrooms from 22 February.

South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following a traffic collision on Mayals Road yesterday, where a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency services were called to the collision, which happened at the junction of Mayals Road and Fairwood Road, shortly before 10:45am yesterday.
