Mumbles Community Council has secured a 125-year lease on Underhill Park.
The Community Council said that this will help them, alongside the Mumbles Community Association, to provide improvements to the park.

Tuckers Butchers on Newton Road will temporarily close for essential maintenance on 15 February.
The award-winning butchers will be closed until 22 February. It will be taking orders via their website for when they re-open and will offer the next available collection or delivery dates.

The opportunity is open to young people between the ages of 11-18 who live in Mumbles and the surrounding area.

New data has revealed that the Mayals and Bishopston ward has one of the lowest rates of Coronavirus in Swansea.
Out of the 31 wards in Swansea, the Mayals and Bishopston area has the 27th lowest rate, with West Cross coming in at 22nd, West Gower at 20th, and Mumbles and Newton at 18th place on the list.

Over 80s in Mumbles will be getting invitations from their GP surgeries for their Covid-19 vaccinations, Swansea Bay Health Board has announced.
According to the health board, almost 9,000 people have had their vaccinations against the virus in Swansea Bay already.
