Almost 80 commercial cockle fishers and shellfish farmers are to receive free life jackets for when they're working.
The life jackets – which cost around £380 each – have been funded with help from by officers of Swansea Council and Carmarthenshire Council, with guidance and support from Swansea Bay Fisheries Local Action Group (SBFLAG).

Mumbles has always attracted tourists from all around the UK – and even from abroad – due to its sandy beaches, beautiful views, and top-quality eateries.
The Oystermouth School Parent and Teacher Association will be raising money through a World Book Day window trail.
To help fund the PTA, the group has organised a window trail between 27 February and 7 March to celebrate World Book Day on 4 March.

A local councillor has called for an extension to the business rates holiday in Wales.
Cllr Myles Langstone, the Welsh Conservative Senedd Candidate for Gower, has said that he sees the measure as vital to helping the local economy recover.
