Tuckers Butchers on Newton Road will temporarily close for essential maintenance on 15 February.

The award-winning butchers will be closed until 22 February. It will be taking orders via their website for when they re-open and will offer the next available collection or delivery dates.

The next delivery or collection date available is automatically calculated at checkout and will present you with the earliest available option, the team behind the butchers said.

"The team has been working hard and non-stop for a year though the lockdowns and this break will also give them some much-needed family and personal time," the team said in a Facebook post.

"Thank you for all your support over the recent months. Stay safe and we hope to see you all again soon."

The butchers offers a range of different meats to order online, from poultry to game, and has been posting recipes to its website.
